As a part of UNHAS South Sudan COVID-19 prevention measures, effective 24 March UNHAS may implement temperature measuring in Juba of all passengers prior to boarding using non-contact thermometers. Passengers recording body temperatures higher than 37.3°C or those displaying other symptoms associated with COVID-19 may be denied boarding on UNHAS flights. Please also note that from 1 April 2020, UNHAS will stop using plastic boarding passes. Each passenger must instead have their ticket which will be used in place of the boarding pass.
