Logistics Cluster Global Meetings (GLM) are held twice a year, and bring together representatives from Logistics Cluster partners at the global level. These meetings are a forum for strategic discussion of the Logistics Cluster and provide an opportunity to confer on relevant Logistics Cluster operations, collect feedback from partner organisations on Logistics Cluster performance, and present new initiatives and projects relevant to the field of humanitarian logistics.

The first 2023 Logistics Cluster Global Meeting was hosted by UNHCR at the Duna Towers in Budapest from 14th to 16th June 2023 and brought together 42 attendees representing 35 organizations. The meeting focused on key governance actions, resulting in the endorsement of a refreshed Strategic Advisory Group (SAG) Terms of Reference (TOR).

Focused groups and dedicated discussion panels on key topics were organised to follow-up on the 2022-2026 Strategy and the 2022 Strategy Implementation Plan through three lenses: Cluster mandate, Field needs, and Cluster values.

Insights and experiences were shared by the Logistics Cluster Coordinators from South Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, and their updates included information about the ongoing logistics challenges and achievements. Updates were also provided on the response in Ukraine.

Four new SAG members were elected, namely Nadia Griffin (USAID), Richard Kneller (ECHO), and Susan Hodgson (Save the Children), and Fabrice Perrot (Solidarités International) were re-appointed for NGO seats.
