Logistics Cluster Global Meetings (GLM) are held twice a year, and bring together representatives from Logistics Cluster partners at the global level. These meetings are a forum for strategic discussion of the Logistics Cluster and provide an opportunity to confer on relevant Logistics Cluster operations, collect feedback from partner organisations on Logistics Cluster performance, and present new initiatives and projects relevant to the field of humanitarian logistics.
The November Logistics Cluster Global Meeting is hosted by DG ECHO at the Albert Borschette Conference Centre in Brussels. This GLM will be an opportunity for the Global Logistics Cluster Support Team and partners’ focal points to sit together and exchange on key strategic and operational issues. Focused groups and dedicated discussion panels on key topics will be organised to follow-up on the 2022-2026 Strategy and the 2022 Strategy Implementation Plan.
Key discussion topics include: comprehensive exchanges on the Cluster approach, transition strategies, opportunities for partners to exchange on key thematic areas such as localisation, preparedness and readiness, the future of digitalisation and common solutions tools, and the importance of capacity-building and training. Online marketplace sessions will be organised the following week for humanitarian logistics partners to present publications and project.
