The ogistics Cluster Induction Training is designed to familiarise participants with the Logistics Cluster by providing an overview of the humanitarian system, cluster approach and functions of the Logistics Cluster in South Sudan. We also aim to provide space to discuss common logistics constraints and bottlenecks in the humanitarian response, and how they can be overcome.
DATES: 11 December (Wednesday) from 10 AM to 4 PM
LOCATION: Save the Children conference room, Juba
TARGET AUDIENCE: Staff working in logistics/procurement/warehousing, as well as general managers who need to understand logistics constraints to make programmatic decisions. Logistics staff newly arrived in South Sudan is encouraged to join as well.
NOMINATION DEADLINE: Friday, 29 November 17:00.
COSTS: The training is free of charge for participants. The Logistics Cluster will provide lunch and tea/coffee break. Organisations need to provide transport to and from the venue. All administrative instructions will follow once all participants are confirmed.
