Global Logistics Meetings (GLM) are a key feature of the Logistics Cluster’s commitment to partnership and continuous improvement. Held twice a year, these meetings bring together representatives from partner organisations, donors, academia and other stakeholders to discuss strategic priorities, review ongoing operations, and share best practices in humanitarian logistics.

GLMs provide a forum for open dialogue, enabling participants to exchange ideas, address challenges, and identify opportunities for collaboration. The meetings often feature presentations on new initiatives, updates on field operations, and workshops focused on capacity building and innovation. By gathering feedback from partners, GLMs help shape the future direction of the Logistics Cluster and ensure that its activities remain relevant and responsive to the evolving needs of the humanitarian sector.

A recent change to the format of the GLMs has enabled broader participation, providing a platform for local, national and international humanitarian logisticians from around the world to join discussions and contribute their expertise. These meetings are instrumental in strengthening relationships, fostering a sense of community, and driving collective action in humanitarian logistics.
