Logistics Cluster’s Environmental Sustainability Team, WREC Coalition
Coordinated by the Global Logistics Cluster, the Environmental Sustainability Team, WREC Coalition is a coalition of humanitarian organisations - the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Save the Children International and the World Food Programme of the United Nations - with input from all Logistics Cluster partners, other humanitarian clusters, the private sector, and academic partners.
Our Vision
By 2030, the humanitarian supply chain community will be aware of the sector’s environmental impact and are empowered to independently implement a coordinated, scalable, and sustainable approach to measure and reduce that impact.

The objective is to support informed waste management decisions by the humanitarian community by providing information about available waste management and recycling infrastructure (see how to find Waste value solutions). To add information or to ask questions, please contact us.
Best Practices on Environmental Sustainability Across the Humanitarian Supply Chain: The map highlights environmental sustainability initiatives across the supply chain implemented by humanitarian partners in various countries.
