These Terms of Use govern your use of the Global Logistics Cluster Mobile Application (herewith: "APP"),the Logistics Cluster website (herewith: "website"), the Logistics Cluster Information Exchange platform (herewith: "LogIE"), the Logistics Capacity Assessment (herewith: "LCA"), the Logistics Operational Guide (herewith: "LOG"), the Logistics Cluster Relief Item Application (herewith: "RITA"), and related web-based services. By accessing or using these services, you agree to these Terms of Use as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you may not use the app or services.

2. User Roles and Responsibilities

a. Consumer Role

As a consumer of information provided through our app or services, you may freely use the information for the purpose of humanitarian action or related non-profit activities (e.g., academic research) under the following conditions:

  • Non-commercial Use: You agree not to use or distribute the information for commercial purposes or turn it into a commercial product.
  • Attribution: If you share or distribute the information, you must attribute the Logistics Cluster as the source.
  • Disclaimer: You acknowledge that the information is provided "as good as we know" and is subject to gaps, inaccuracies, or omissions. Neither the Logistics Cluster nor the World Food Programme (WFP) can be held liable for any actions taken based on the information or for any potential errors.

b. Contributor Role

As a contributor, you may submit information (e.g., updates) through the app for the Logistics Cluster community. The following conditions apply:

  • No Anonymous Submissions: All submissions must include your name and contact information to ensure accuracy and to allow follow-up for clarification or validation.
  • Compliance with Laws: You must not provide any information that violates national or international laws regarding intellectual property (IP), personal identifiable information (PII), or data protection policies.
  • Humanitarian Principles: All information provided must be for the purpose of supporting humanitarian action and be in accordance with humanitarian principles.

3. Service Availability

The availability of the Global Logistics Cluster app and web services is subject to external factors such as technical failures, emergencies, and internet access issues. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the services, and we reserve the right to suspend or modify services without prior notice.
