COSTS:

The training is free of charge for participants. The Logistics Cluster will provide tea/coffee break. Organisations need to provide transport to and from the venue. All administrative instructions will follow once all participants are confirmed.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES:

  • To improve understanding of the cluster approach and mandate, enabling partners' efficient and effective contribution to inter-agency logistics response

  • To expand understanding of the Logistics Cluster tools, deliverables and services in South Sudan

  • To improve understanding of how partners can (individually or in their organisation) contribute to cluster activities

 

TARGET AUDIENCE: Staff working in logistics/procurement/warehousing, as well as general managers who need to understand logistics constraints to make programmatic decisions. We strongly encourage the participation of female staff.

NOMINATION DEADLINE: Thursday, 19 September COB. We will confirm the list of accepted participants by Friday 20 September.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Interested organisations can nominate up to two candidates. We can accommodate up to 30 participants in total. Subsequent courses will be rolled out during the year.
