Dear All
A coastal vessel, MV TUPERNA, is expected in Accra-Ghana ETA Saturday 23 April 2011, and we estimate loading to start on Monday 25 April for Monrovia.
Please advise urgently in case you have NFIs ready in Accra to be delivered to Monrovia.
Focal points are;
- Mirabelle Niang to register your request, mirabelle.niang@wfp.org
- Michael Larkins for operations, michael.larkins@wfp.org
- Martin Walsh for UNHRD support, martin.walsh@wfp.org
The vessel will carry WFP food commodities but is able also to carry containers and/ or NFIs on deck. It is equipped with two cranes.
Any cargo loaded on deck is at user of service's risk and WFP will hold no responsibility. It is also the user of service's responsibility to provide all paperwork in good order (shipping instructions, export documentation etc).
Please communicate urgently, as we need to firm up your requests before the end of this week at the latest, in order to allow loading to start on time
Best regards,
The Logistics Cluster Team
