In order to safeguard the health of the Venezuelan people, this Autonomous Sanitary Control Service hereby informs importers of goods subject to Legal Regime 3 (Sanitary Import Permit), Legal Regime 12 (Health Registration), and, in general, all goods intended for human use and consumption, must strictly comply with current health regulations.
Importers are required to submit valid health registrations, import permits, and listings, as well as to ensure that labeling at the destination is properly authorized. This is intended to minimize health risks, safeguard traceability, and keep the public informed about the origin and manufacture of the products.
Furthermore, this Service reminds the public that it is available to provide effective and transparent responses to requests submitted within the established timeframes prior to the arrival of loads.
In this regard, it is emphasized that health is a fundamental social right. The State has an obligation to guarantee it as part of the right to life, and it is everyone’s duty to ensure compliance with technical health standards at customs.
