Dear UNHAS Users,
Since January 2010, UNHAS has transported a total of 1690mt relief cargo and flown 20,068 passengers.
The graph below shows the steady decline of demand for cargo (in kg) for the cholera emergency since December 2010.
It is with regret that we are writing to inform you that with effect from 1st April 2011, the humanitarian air service provided by UNHAS will be discontinued in Haiti.
UNHAS will continue to closely monitor the humanitarian situation in Haiti and be prepared to re-establish air support at short notice subject to funding.
UNHAS thanks you for your support over the last year.
