Dear UNHAS Customers,
In line with the decision of UNHAS Steering Group Committee Meeting held on the 23 June and to further harmonize the Cargo operations in North and South Sudan, kindly find below a self explanatory brief on Cargo costing on UNHAS flights.
Harmonization UNHAS North/South Sudan Cargo Transportation:
In an effort to harmonize Cargo Operations, cargo movement will be charged for in all parts of the country at a rate of US$3/kg.
- Effective 01st August 2010, all cargo manifested on UNHAS flights will be charged 3 USD per 1 kg to each requesting agency respectively.
- Cargo will be accepted only from users with active accounts, and charges will go to your respective accounts.
- No cash payments for cargo would be accepted.
- Cargo Booking Form would continue to remain the primary document for acceptance and weight of cargo.
- All customers are kindly advised to retain the copy of the cargo booking form and any supporting documents submitted to UNHAS.
- Customer’s account number should be clearly marked on the cargo booking form in the Priority/Remarks column.
- All Consignor / Consignee details must be clearly indicated for efficient and effective processing.
