Summary
Partners were updated on Somalia’s humanitarian situation, highlighting ongoing drought, flood risks, insecurity, and access constraints. The Logistics Cluster supported relief operations by transporting 428 MT of cargo to 17 hard-to-reach locations and providing storage support to 16 partners. With a high probability of El Niño-related flooding during the 2026 Deyr season, preparedness efforts are underway, including supply pre-positioning, storage expansion, and contingency planning in flood-prone areas. Partners also discussed ongoing transport and storage needs, while access challenges continue to affect some humanitarian corridors.
