Air Transport
- The US Military demobilization is underway and is likely to be completed soon. The US Military has offered air support, on 25 November, to deliver humanitarian cargo to hard-to-access islands.
Sea Transport
- To date the shipment of 1,728m3/409 mt of inter-agency cargo to Tacloban has been facilitated through the Logistics Cluster.
- As part of the Logistics Cluster free service provision, the WFP-contracted vessel, MV Super Shuttle Ro-Ro 5, is due to arrive in Tacloban carrying goods for UNHCR, UNICEF, DFID and World Vision. Cargo also includes two forklifts, two telescopic handlers for container operations and a fuel bowser, donated by DFID to assist logistics operations in Tacloban.
Storage
- 5 Mobile Storage Units (MSUs) were erected as of 24 November at the Palo (Tacloban) MSU Compound. Pallets have now been received.
- 2 MSUs have been received in both Ormoc and Guiuan.
Road Transport
- To date 585 m3/325 mt of interagency cargo has been dispatched by road around and out of Tacloban on WFP contracted trucks.
Assessments
- The Logistics Cluster undertook a mission to Roxas to hold a Logistics Cluster Coordination Meeting and to assess perceived logistics constraints.
Civ-Mil
- The Canadian Military has made Roxas their base of operation for the emergency response and they have assets available for use by the humanitarian community
