The Cluster is aiming to map as soon as possible this information. All items were loaded onto trucks and will be departing to Gaza tomorrow, 21 January through Rafah and Karam Abu Salem.
4. CIVIL/MILITARY COORDINATION:
During the JHCC meeting, clarification of the policy of priority for international versus commercial trucks crossing into Gaza was requested.
IDF indicated that the policy remained that international trucks generally will be given priority, although it depends on a variety of factors with the Gaza private sector being an important actor in the context. Tomorrow 21st January is the JHCC's last operational day. During tomorrow meeting, among other agenda items, there is going to be an attempt to examine lessons learned from the JHCC experience.
JHCC responsibilities will be passed back to COGAT with the expectation that coordination mechanisms will continue in much the same manner as with the JHCC
