1. HIGHLIGHTS
During the JHCC morning meeting, it was reported that the number of people, in UNRWA 21 communal shelters, has increased by 4,000 to reach the total number of 25, 696. Figures are expected to increase.
2. BORDER CROSSING:
- The JHCC is submitting the request to IDF for opening Erez crossing for trucks.
- Kerem Shalom: 91 trucks crossed today (see below breakdown).

- The piled up cargo at the Palestinian side of Kerem Shalom crossing point has been uplifted today.
- Rafah: 10 trucks of medical supplies (Saudi donation) crossed to Gaza from Rafah.
3. LOGISTICS COORDINATION:
The Logistics Cluster cell in El Arish (Egypt) is embedded within the Egyptian Red crescent premises with the participation of the El Arish municipality.
4. CIVIL MILITARY COORDINATION:
- A coordination meeting took place between the COGAT, JHCC, ICRC and UNRWA to review the protocol of communication in order to minimize security incidents related to vehicle movement inside the Gaza strip.
- During the JHCC meeting the Israeli Authorities informed that as of tomorrow a daily meeting will be held between IDF Division Commanders and humanitarian organizations (for the time being UNRWA and ICRC)to improve coordination on the ground.
5. ELECTRICITY:
UNRWA will escort tomorrow the delivery of up to 350,000 litres of heavy fuel from Nahal Oz to Gaza City and to power plant.
