- There were scattered shower rains in Somaliland (specifically to Awdal, Hargeisa, Togdheer, Sahil and Sanaag regions) during reporting period but despite this the roads in this regions remained accessible.
- All roads in Punt-land are remained open and accessible.
- The road in South-Central region remain accessible but with difficulties in some starches due to the Deyr rains.
- In Mogadishu the transportation sector was paralyzed after the TFG government issued new instructions to all owners and truck corporations to buy new number plate and Licenses.
- The road between Baidoa and Wajid is accessible but difficult to access due to rains.
- On the roads between Wajid and Teiglow via Huddur and Wajid and Qansahdhere through Gofgadud, the number of road blocks have dramatically increased due to lack of proper administrations in the area.
- Ex-Kismayo, Afmadow and Badade roads are inaccessible due to recent Dayr rains that rendered roads impassable.
- Kismayo local authority has removed 10 roadblocks along Kis-Jilib road. However, there are 3 official check points and 5 roadblocks in between Kismayo-Jilib.
Air and Ports update:
The following airstrips are open for UNHAS air operations:
- All airstrip are open for UNHAS flight prior UNDSS 'minor airstrip clearance.
- Port movements- 6 dhows have berthed in Kismayo seaport this week of which only two of them have imported a 100 MT of Rice and Sugar.ity has removed 10 roadblocks along Kis-Jilib road. However, there are 3 official check points and 5 roadblocks in between Kismayo-Jilib.
