- Ex KEN-SOM border closed, ex Border to SOM : No rains reported.
- There were no rains in Somalia during reporting period. Therefore, roads are getting Black Cotton Dry. Roads are improving. The convoy ex Mogadishu for Buale was stuck for almost a week. Now, it got cleared and started arriving in Buale on 19/11.
- Since kidnapping case took place at Elwak on 10/11, KEN-SOM border have remained closed. Currently, there are 45 trucks wth 1,250 MT stuck at the border. In response, WFP wrote a letter addressing to Permanent Secretary of Internal Security and copying to Office of the president. The letter briefs about starving of Somali people, need of intervention and requests Kenya government to consider re-open of the border for the sake of the needy people. WFP is expecting positive response from the government.
- Due to conflict between Mogadishu Port Authority and Ministry of Finance on financial issue, MV Michail Arhangelos and MV Am Nok Gang were paused their discharge for 2 days. They resumed and completed discharge on 19/11.
- No food movement related incident was reported during week.
