All roads are are open and the Ministry of Roads & Public Works has restored all damaged roads.
Please note: Due to wet season ending it is expected that all roads will remain passable and unless there is any unseasonal rain that changes the status of road conditions then we will no longer issue further road condition updates.
The current statuses of the routes are as follows;
Mombassa - Garissa
Now that the wet season is over this road has stabilised and the Ministry of Roads & Public Works has earth moving equipment working to repair this section of road.
Garissa - Wajir
This sector is now open.
Wajir - El Wak
The sector between Wajir to El Wak is in poor condition but traffic is moving.
El Wak - Mandera
The section between Rhamu and Mandera was washed out in a number of locations but the Ministry of Roads & Public Works has completed restoration work and the road is now open.
Garissa - Dadaab
This sector is open.
Mombassa - Maralal
Road is open but traffic moves very slowly.
Kapenguria - Lodwar - Kakuma - Lokichogio
The road open but is difficult especially for big trucks and traffic is very slow.
