1. General Updates

• Due to the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Iran on 8 June, Kerem Shalom-Karem Abu Salem (KS/KAS) was closed for offloads for one day, while collections still took place. 
• Sheikh Hussein Bridge-Jordan River (SHB) crossing from Jordan resumed operations on 2 June after a one-day closure due to a fire.
• The rejection and return rate for cargo from Egypt has improved, though it remains high, decreasing from an average of 50 percent last month to 40 percent in the past week.
• Partners are requested to complete the circulated Gaza warehouse assessment survey before 23 June. The data will used to support analysis related to potential storage capacity risks arising from different conflict scenarios and the shifting of the military zones.
• Kerem Shalom/Karem Abu Salem (KS/KAS) Cargo Collection 
• The new checkpoint procedure introduced on 4 June is causing delays to convoy movements. Trucks in escorted convoys (with AVs front and back) can pass without biometric checks, while unescorted trucks must undergo biometric screening.
• Access to the platform remains restricted to international staff only and to one organisation at a time.
• A full physical inventory conducted on 2 June counted 977 pallets of humanitarian aid. 
• Zikim Cargo Collection
• Zikim crossing will remain closed until further notice.

2. UN/INGO Upstream Truck Overview

• Between 1 and 7 June, 755 trucks were manifested across all corridors, of which 606 were offloaded; approximately 20 percent did not offload mainly due to pallet damage and incorrect truck or driver details. Daily volumes fluctuated, with a peak of 147 truck movements on 4 June.
• Through Egypt, between 1 and 7 June, 299 trucks were manifested, of which 184 were offloaded (62 percent). Returns and rejections remain high, with poor pallet conditions still cited as the primary reason for rejection.
• Through Jordan, operations continue via King Hussein bridge-Allenby (KHB) twice per week, with 50 to 60 trucks per crossing and offloading on Tuesdays and Thursdays and via Sheikh Hussein Bridge-Jordan River (SHB) five times per week, 15 trucks per day. Between 1 and 7 June, the Cluster facilitated four back-to-back convoys totalling 49 trucks in support of 3 partners.
• Partners are requested to share their truck manifest weekly plans, to support advocacy with relevant authorities for increased slots and availability of the relevant authorities specifically for the inspection of dual-use items. Partners are required to submit their weekly tentative plan by Wednesday, the tentative daily plan by 10:00, with final manifest by 15:00.

3. Common Services Overview

• Between 1 and 7 June, the Logistics Cluster facilitated the collection of 2,583 pallets from Gaza crossings and received 2,209 pallets in Cluster warehouses across the Gaza Strip on behalf of nine partners.
• To improve end-to-end tracking, partners are requested to confirm, based on the waybill, dispatch date and receipt status (received in good condition/damaged/lost) once cargo arrives at their warehouse.
• Depending on access and security conditions, the Logistics Cluster continues to facilitate both transport and storage services. Organisations are requested to submit a Service Request Form (SRF) minimum 72 hours in advance, to access common logistics services. Once a request is accepted, the provided SRF QR code must be printed and placed on all four sides of the pallets.

4. AOB

• Partner trainings are scheduled for early July, with preparations currently underway. 
• Partners are encouraged to contribute to the consolidated supplier list, compiled by the Logistics Cluster team. The consolidated suppliers list may be requested by contacting palestine.logcluster@wfp.org. The input source will remain confidential as organisations’ names are removed from the shared file.
