The NFI Common Pipeline Guiding Principles have been updated and were endorsed by the Advisory Panel on 6 August 2009. As a reminder, the document:
- Clarifies the Terms of Reference for the Common Pipeline;
- Details the pipeline’s target beneficiary groups;
- Specifies the items currently available through the pipeline;
- Defines the roles and responsibilities of all partners, and;
- Explains the processes for accessing and distributing non-food items (NFIs).
UNJLC is available at any time to respond to any questions not addressed in this document. UNJLC also encourages all organizations operating in the Non-Food Item and Emergency Shelter Sector to connect with their local UNJLC office to promote cooperation and efficient response to the needs of the Sudanese people.
