The Road from Muzaffarabad to Gari Dopata in many places is in a state of near collapse. There are numerous landslide hot spots It is strongly advised to get information every morning on the roads situation from UNDSS Muzaffarabad before leaving the UN Compound. In the case that staff become cut off from the UN compound by a major landslide between UN staffs become isolated from UN Compound by a major landslide between Ghari Dopatta and Muzaffarabad there is a bypass road starting from Ghari Dopata to Chattar Kalas which can be used. |
