Authorisation to land at airstrips in south-central is still granted or revoked on short notice.
All ports are open.
Despite the announcement of the Kenya government that the border is closed, humanitarian trucks continue to proceed from Kenya into Somalia - although with delays and after thorough screening.
The road between El Wak and Bardera remains only partially accessible. The road between Kismayo and Badhade is inaccessible.
Roaming militia groups and roadblocks are reported to cause transport delays, especially around Mogadishu. The number of check points have increads on the roads Mogadishu-Balad-Jowhar.
