1. CLUSTER ACTIVITIES
- Since the start of the emergency operation on May 20th, the Logistics Cluster has delivered the following cargo inside Myanmar by boat and road:

2. AIR OPERATIONS:
TOTAL of FLIGHTS ex DMK: (24th May -24th June): 92
Arrived today 24th: 4 (1 for UNICEF, one for CARE and 2 for WVI)
Planned for tomorrow 25th: 4 (2 for UNICEF and IOM, 1 for UNICEF and Merlin, 1 for UNICEF) carrying plastic sheets, tents, student bags, sleeping bags and water purification tabs.
FLIGHTS EX DMK COMPLETED 24th JUNE: (See document attached)
HELICOPTER UPDATE:
- Total number of locations reached up to the 24th of June: 81
- Total rotations: 313
- Planned for tomorrow: 8 helicopter operations carrying food for WFP, mosquito nets and malaria kits for UNICEF, and water purification tanks/equipment for UNICEF/THW.
- Rotations planned for tomorrow 25th: 29
- Five sling operations are planned for tomorrow (June 25th-) to deliver water purification units and equipment for UNICEF/THW.
- The Logistics Cluster will be phasing out five of the ten helicopters it presently has on contract by June 30th, and continuing operations with the other five.This will permit helicopter cargo flights to continue through July.
- Procedures for sending pouches for delivery on helicopter flights will be attached to this sitrep and made available on the Logistics Cluster website.
- The service will run from Yangon to the regular cargo flight locations of Bogale, Labutta and Pyangon.
ROADS AND WATERWAYS SUMMARY:
- The Logistics Cluster has reduced its fleet of dedicated trucks from 33 to 15. Additional trucks will be hired on a day-by-day basis should any additional
capacity be required. - The cluster has three barges with pushers and four boats, for a total capacity of 3,500 mt.
WAREHOUSING:
- The Logistics Cluster has some additional MSUs which it could make available to organizations needing to establish storage. A request should be made to the Logistics Cluster in writing. Long term solutions for organizations intending to continue their operation after the withdrawal of the Logistics Cluster can be discussed.
