  • Convoy 10 departed on Thursday 7th January at 10:15 and returned to the Inter Agency Logistics Hub on Friday 8th January at 18:05.
  • The initial plan was 62 trucks with 887 MT of Mixed food, however, due to three Trucks breaking down on the way back to Vavuniya from Trinco and two trucks breaking down on the way to Vanni, the convoy was reduced to 57 trucks.
  • Ensuring the safe passage of the convoy is a crucial condition for a successful delivery of relief assistance. Security issues are a top priority and should be addressed at all levels.
