In terms of the Dungu air bridge operation for the provision of humanitarian assistance, logistics equipment and a consignment of Inter-Agency mobile storage facilities have been pre-positioned by Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) on 24 November in Dungu. Additionally, a Solidarite technician will proceed to Dungu to set-up the mobile storage facilities.

The third Inter-Agency mobile storage facility received from Kampala (Uganda) was set-up in Goma on 21 November. It is currently storing cargo from WHO and UNHCR.

The weekly Logistics Cluster meetings took place in Kinshasa and Goma on Tuesday 25 November.

The UN Humanitarian Air Service (UNHAS) has re-established its activities in DRC. Flights took place on 19 and 24 November from Kinshasa to Goma. Any booking requests can be submitted to UNHAS via email: unhas.drc@wfp.org. UN Staff are permitted to proceed on certain ECHO flights until the end of November. Booking requests for ECHO flights can be submitted directly via email: echoflight-goma@dacaviation.com.
