The Logistics Cluster has been activated in Benin, and the Global Logistics Cluster Support Cell is deploying a Logistics Response Team to engage in initial flood assessment and to perform a Logistics gap analysis, in order to develop a response strategy. As required the Logistics Cluster can provide the humanitarian community with essential logistics coordination activities through the deployment of surge staff and vital information management and coordination services to support the emergency response operations.
