NICARAGUA
- On 5th September Reuters reported that Hurricane Felix killed at least 38 people on Nicaragua's Caribbean coast and more than 80 people were missing after the storm destroyed thousands of homes.
HONDURAS
- As reported by the Government of Honduras on 5th September, COPECO changed on yellow the alert for the departments of Santa Barbara, Cortes, Choluteca, Valle y El Paraiso as a result of continuous rains cumulated during the night. The red alert declared for the Central District was ratified.
