- On 2nd October 2007 the Monitor Uganda is reporting that floods, which have ravaged the northeastern parts of the country since April this year, are beginning to sweep through other districts, with the central region taking the latest battering.
- Three sub counties in Kiboga District have now been cut off following heavy flooding over the weekend, which resulted into the submerging of several roads and a bridge at Kayindiyindi on the Kiboga -Mubende Road.
