Charter rates based on the following: (with could be changed based on requirements)
Griffon 2000 Mk2 (Yellow)
- Available at max 48 hours notice - see http://www.griffonhovercraft.com/used_craft.asp
- Standby and Operational rates include for two crew (pilot and engineer/navigator) flying maximum 8 hours per day and a maximum of 13 days out of each 14. All operations during daylight hours.
- All rates include for insurance of the vehicle Mobilisation (preparation for containerisation or C-130 transport configuration) GBP3000
- Transit rate for periods when the craft is not in operation and crew are in the UK GBP400/day
- Standby rate for periods where crew personnel are required to supervise transportation of hovercraft GBP1000/day
- Standby rate for periods when craft and crew are available for sorties and in theatre but no sortie is flown GBP1000/day
- Operational rate for periods where sorties are flown GBP1700/day
- Second crew if operational hours to exceed 8 hours/day or 13 days out of each 14. GBP600/day
- Recovery of craft - in addition to transit rate GBP11,500
Griffon 2000 Mk1 (Neste)
- Available at max 7 days notice (this could be significantly reduced if necessary subject to additional engineering resource being made available)
- Standby and Operational rates include for two crew (pilot and engineer/navigator) flying maximum 8 hours per day and a maximum of 13 days out of each 14. All operations during daylight hours.
- All rates include for insurance of the vehicle Mobilisation (preparation for containerisation or C-130 transport configuration) GBP3000
- Transit rate for periods when the craft is not in operation and crew are in the UK GBP300/day
- Standby rate for periods where crew personnel are required to supervise transportation of hovercraft GBP900/day
- Standby rate for periods when craft and crew are available for sorties in theatre but no sortie is flown GBP900/day
- Operational rate for periods where sorties are flown GBP1600/day
- Second crew if operational hours to exceed 8 hours/day GBP600/day
- Recovery of craft - in addition to transit rate GBP11,500
Conditions
- All above charges are exclusive of UK VAT to paid at 17.5%
- The transit rate would be charged for every day the hovercraft in question was outside Griffon Hovercraft Ltd possession.
- All air fares for Griffon crews as above to be met by User both to and from operational area.
- Suitable accommodation to be arranged by User.
- Suitable landing ground (section of beach) and security to be arranged by User.
- All in theatre landing ground fees to be paid by User.
- All local taxes, harbour fees, local registration fees, import and export duties, and other similar sundry items to be paid by User.
- User would be asked to help with arrangement of temporary import licences.
- Transport of craft from in theatre airport (if airfreight used) to operation base or sea access point to be on 40ft flat bed truck, to be arranged by and paid for by User.
- Transport in UK to airport or container port to be paid for by User - Griffon can arrange.
- Above rates include for purchase of fuel at no more than 10% above the local going rate prior to Dec 25 2004. User requested to aid in sourcing fuel.
Example of costs
For two vehicles for 28 days in theatre operation at max 8 hours/day maximum 13 days per fortnight including crew, fuel, and insurance:
- Note: The rates above are as defined by Griffon Hovercraft Ltd. It should not form part of a contract with Griffon hovercraft Ltd - It's indicator.
- Mobilisation charge 3000+3000 = 6,000
- Transit rate: 1 day airfreight to Indonesia 400 + 300 = 700
- Standby rate: 1 day flatbed truck to operational base 1000 + 900= 1,900
- Operational rate: 26 days 44,200 + 41,600 = 85,800
- Standby rate: 2 days non-operational / crew rest 2000 + 1800 = 3,800
- Recovery charge 11,500 + 11,500 = 23,000
- Transit rate for containerised return period to UK: 21 days 8400 + 6300 = 14,700
- Total 135,900
