Overview
UNJLC Sudan’s recent logistics services and coordination user’s survey demonstrated a deficiency in the information available on requirements needed to obtain duties and tax exemption and facilitate imports of necessary assets and commodities. To address this gap, UNJLC has created the ‘2008 Duties and Tax Exemption and Customs Procedures in Sudan’ snapshot series, which is designed to provide timely, realistic and practical information to facilitate the import operations of humanitarian organizations.
UNJLC would like to take this opportunity to thank all involved for their assistance in producing this study. Questions and requests for further information should be addressed to UNJLC at sudan@unjlc.org
