Summary
The LTC participated in two joint assessment missions: WHO-led multi-agency mission to Isiro, Haute Uele and WHO-WFP mission to Lita Health Zone, Djugu Territory. Both missions were to evaluate infrastructure and logistical requirements for the Ebola response. WFP Executive Director visited the warehouse in Bunia, amidst Logistics Cluster Ebola response operations. The logistics cluster facilitated the transportation of three ambulances belonging to WHO from Lubumbashi to Bunia. The C-130 completed 13 rotations from Entebbe to Bunia. 143mt (793 m³) of medical cargo for WHO, UNICEF, WFP, Save the Children and International Medical Corps, Médecins Sans Frontières Suisse, and Médecins Sans Frontières Belgique were transported.
