This global information session coordinated by the Logistics Cluster's environment team (WREC) was a follow up to previous discussion during HNPW in 2024 regarding roles and responsibilities of Clusters on waste management during emergencies. This session aimed to review progress on the two key action points which emerged during the 2024 discussion, share updates, and discuss how Clusters are addressing waste management amid funding constraints and sector reforms. The question of responsibility for wast has also been raised by partners during Waste Management Coordination meetings, promting this session to engage with other sectors/clusters on the issue.
