Executive Summary
• In July, 18,151 households were supported with non-food items (NFIs) and emergency shelter (ES) from the Common
Pipeline, to whom 65,817 items were given. Newly displaced populations was the largest beneficiary group supported,
accounting for approximately 61% of the households, followed by IDPs requiring replenishment, which comprised
approximately 34% of the households.
• International Aid Hand is spotlighted in this month’s update. The national NGO is based in Nyala, South Darfur and
represents a community of 3,000 disabled IDPs. IAH has supported 1,150 households with Common Pipeline NFIs since
January 2008.
