- NFI & ES Sector Partners are kindly reminded that Project Sheets for the 2009 UN & Partners Work Plan are to be submitted to UNJLC by 15 September. Darfur Project Sheets should be sent to Allan Ng (allanng.hb@wfp.org) and Nathalie Butcher (nathalie.butcher@wfp.org).
- In August, 20,614 households were supported with non-food items from the NFI Common Pipeline in Darfur, to whom 57,004 items were distributed. IDPs requiring replenishment was the largets beneficiary group served, accounting for 83% of the total; distributions also supported the disaster affected, newly isplaced, extremely vulnerable, and spontaneous returnees.
