1. Status Update and Logistics Working Group Update

Status Update: 

• Roadblocks: Mostly lifted, and roads are passable nationwide. However, the state of emergency remains in effect. 
• Fuel: Fuel shortages persist, particularly for diesel (high demand). 
• Food: Prices for some food items remain high. 
• Exchange Rate: Transition from a fixed exchange rate to a flexible exchange rate system.
• Medications: The situation has improved, although some establishments still report challenges due to the aftermath of the crisis.
• Land Routes 
• The main national land routes are open; no active roadblocks are currently being reported. 
• The country is in a phase of supply recovery, but the situation has not yet returned to normal.
• Persisting issues: Gasoline and diesel shortages. Lines at gas stations; irregular distribution by region.
• Air Travel  
• International airports remain operational; demand for shipments is stabilizing.

• Warehousing
  • Some reports from partners indicate limited space at certain warehouses in El Alto 

• Logistics Task Force
  • Coordination
    • Four GTL coordination meetings in Bolivia (to date).
    • Meetings with various humanitarian actors to understand logistical gaps and needs.
    • Workshop and/or training on the use of SRF for humanitarian partners.
  • Information Management
    • Rollout of the GNA survey.
    • Launch of the website and LogIE for the Logistics Working Group.
    • Updating the mailing list and WhatsApp group—
• Logistics Services (free)
  • Air/ground transportation—approximately 181.9 metric tons have been transported to date.
• Distribution of food kits in Tarija.
• Vaccines, hygiene kits, food kits, and other items.
• Pipeline/Demand: transport of vaccines, food kits, hygiene kits, ETC.
• Requirements for Accessing Logistics Services
• Users must complete the SRF.
• SRFs must be completed at least 4 DAYS before the loading is delivered to the consolidation warehouse/shared warehouse.
• After submitting the SRF, the applicant will receive an automated email at the provided address to verify and finalize the request.

2. Partner Update

• They highlighted the reactivation of proactive measures to address the social crisis.
• They requested ground transportation of hygiene kits to the city of Ouro.
• Some partners’ procurement processes had to be reactivated once the blockades ended.

3. Other Business (AOB).

A presentation was given to explain the GTL’s actions aimed at implementing specific activities in Bolivia, with the purpose of:

• Provide guidance on completing the GNA form.
• Promote collaboration between humanitarian partners and government institutions for ground and air cargo transport, prioritizing food, medical supplies, and essential goods to optimize delivery times.
• Continuously update the Partner Database, incorporating a management system that facilitates its use and keeps the information up to date with email lists from the various organizations.
• Update the WhatsApp group to add participants and notify them of upcoming meetings.
