1. Status Update and Logistics Working Group Update

Status Update: 

• Roadblocks: mostly lifted, and roads are passable nationwide. 
• Fuel: Supply has improved, but lines still persist.
• Food: Access is limited, and price increases persist (especially for meat and fresh produce).
• Medications: According to reports, there is still a shortage of medical supplies in La Paz. 
• Humanitarian efforts are underway to maintain medical services and supplies for the most vulnerable patients (newborns, patients with kidney failure, and cancer patients).
• Land Routes 
• The main national land routes are open; no roadblocks are currently being reported. 
• However, cleanup and restoration work on the roads continues following weeks of conflict.
• The country is in the process of restoring supply, but it has not yet returned to normal.
• The following issues persist: partial shortages of gasoline and diesel, lines at gas stations, and irregular distribution by region.

• Air Travel  
• International airports remain operational but have limited capacity to process cargo due to high demand for shipments
•  El Alto International Airport
•  Viru Viru International Airport
• Warehousing
  • Some boundaries on access to warehouses located in El Alto 
  • Some reports from partners regarding limited space in certain warehouses in El Alto   

• Logistics Working Group
  • Logistics Working Group (GTL) launched in June 2026 with a focus on:
• Coordination.
• Information management.
• Logistics Services (free of charge).
  • Actions taken:
• Three GTL coordination meetings in Bolivia (as of June 24)
• Air Bridge – 3 humanitarian flights carried out during the week of June 14–19.
• Transportation services – approximately 137.7 metric tons have been delivered to partners:
  • Vaccines, hygiene kits, food kits, and other items
• Survey to understand partners’ demand and needs for the airlift.
• Meetings with various humanitarian actors to identify logistical gaps.
• Launch of a website for the Logistics Working Group and LCA.
• Launch of the Logistics Services – Service Request Form (SRF) for humanitarian partners.

Requirements for Accessing Logistics Services

• Users must complete the Service Request Form (SRF).
• SRFs must be completed at least 4 DAYS prior to the delivery of the loading to the consolidation warehouse/common warehouse.
• After submitting the SRF, the requester will receive an automated email at the provided address to verify and finalize the request.

2. Partner Update

• A partner noted that the Bolivian Pilots’ Association declared an emergency due to a shortage of jet fuel affecting cargo aircraft and air ambulances.
• Some member operations are cautiously resuming in light of sporadic roadblocks on land routes.
• Another member indicated that the transport of liquid oxygen from Santa Cruz to La Paz was carried out by land rather than via an airlift, given the improved road access.

3. Other Business (AOB).

A presentation was given to explain the GTL’s actions aimed at implementing specific activities in Bolivia, with the purpose of:

• Provide guidance on completing the Logistics Gaps and Needs Analysis (GNA) form.
• Promote collaboration among humanitarian partners and government institutions for ground and air cargo transport, prioritizing food, medical supplies, and essential goods to optimize delivery times.
• Continuously update the Partner Database, incorporating a management system that facilitates its use and keeps the information current, including email lists for the various organizations.
• Update the WhatsApp group to add participants and notify them of upcoming meetings.
