1. Status Update and Logistics Working Group Update

Status Update: 

• Roadblocks and disruptions on interprovincial and interdepartmental highways persist, particularly in La Paz and El Alto
  • Fuel shortages (long lines of vehicles) at gas stations for more than 4 days
  • Limited access to food, with significant price increases (meat, fresh produce)
  • Shortages of fuel and medical supplies have been reported in La Paz
• Supply of oxygen cylinders and medications (dialysis, ETC) 
• Limited mobility (ambulances)
  • Humanitarian efforts to maintain medical services and supplies for the most vulnerable patients (newborns, patients with kidney failure, and cancer patients).
  • Land Routes
• The main land routes between Santa Cruz and La Paz remain blocked (approximately 52 roadblocks reported) 
• Some alternate land routes are being used for travel within La Paz and El Alto
  • Air Travel:
• International airports remain operational, but with limited capacity to process cargo
• El Alto International Airport
• Viru Viru International Airport

• Transportation:
• Some carriers have reported challenges due to fuel shortages and high fuel prices, which are hindering their ability to provide services.
• Lack of public transportation to reach various parts of the cities of La Paz and El Alto
  • Storage:
• Some boundaries on access to warehouses located in El Alto 
• Some reports from partners regarding limited space in certain warehouses in El Alto  

• Logistics Working Group
  • Logistics Working Group (GTL) launched in June 2026 with a focus on:
• Coordination.
• Information management.
• Logistics Services (free of charge).
  • Actions taken:
• Two GTL coordination meetings in Bolivia (as of June 17).
• Deployment of Logistics Services—Service Request Form (SRF) for humanitarian partners. 
• Transportation services—approximately 53.8 metric tons have been transported to partners (by air and land) 
• Support for the transport of donations from various governments
• Meetings with various humanitarian actors to identify gaps and logistical needs 
• Launch of the website for the Logistics Working Group and LCA. 
• SOPs – Standard Operating Procedures for the provision of common services.
• Logie – ConOps available on the platform.

Requirements for Accessing Logistics Services

• Users must complete the Service Request Form (SRF).
• SRFs must be completed at least 4 DAYS prior to the delivery of the loading to the consolidation warehouse/common warehouse.
• After submitting the SRF, the requester will receive an automated email at the provided address to verify and finalize the request

2. Partner Update

• Several partners reported various challenges due to roadblocks at various locations across the country
• Operations in Desaguadero were suspended due to roadblocks.
• To access Desaguadero, river routes were used: La Paz – Guaqui – Desaguadero – Guaqui – La Paz
• The highway to Oruro (Patacamaya) is blocked. 

3. Other Business (AOB)

A presentation was held to explain the GTL’s actions aimed at implementing specific activities in Bolivia, with the goal of:

• Promote collaboration between humanitarian partners and government institutions for land and air cargo transport, prioritizing food, medical supplies, and essential goods to optimize delivery times.
• Continuously update the Partner Database by incorporating a management system that facilitates its use and keeps the information up to date, including email lists for the various organizations.
• Update the WhatsApp group to add participants and notify them of upcoming meetings.
