The Green Procurement Landscape: who’s setting the pace in humanitarian green procurement is an analysis and landscape mapping of humanitarian organisation’s work on environmentally sustainable procurement practices.
This work is intended to support humanitarian procurement and logistics professionals to integrate environmental sustainability into their procurement processes. It identifies existing initiatives and resources across the humanitarian sector, providing a foundation for collaboration initiatives and key partners who are reducing environmental impacts at the source, avoiding duplication of efforts. The WREC project maintains a coordination group with current stakeholders on ‘green procurement’ and will maintain this mapping on a regular basis.
