Yemen Emergency 2010

Cluster Operation

Involved countries:

Description:

The Logistics Cluster in Yemen is contending with port access limitations, road transport disruptions, and airlift constraints amid ongoing conflict. Ports like Hodeidah operate with limited feeder services, while key border crossings with Saudi Arabia remain closed. The Logistics Cluster is headquartered in Sana’a and coordinates with partners across the country. Activities include coordination meetings, updates on port and road access, and training on the new Service Marketplace platform. Common services include UNHAS airlift operations and logistics support through operational hubs. Information management is facilitated via the LogIE platform, and advocacy efforts focus on validating government directives and ensuring humanitarian access through southern entry points.
