Description:
In northeast Nigeria, the Logistics Sector addresses critical challenges including insecurity, poor infrastructure, and limited storage capacity, which disrupt humanitarian supply chains. Based in Maiduguri, the team coordinates with partners through regular meetings to resolve access issues and advocate with government authorities. Common services include temporary storage in six hubs. Training initiatives and environmental sustainability efforts are also key components of the response. Information is managed through LogIE and a mobile app, enabling real-time access to logistics data and service requests.
