Lebanon Logistics Working Group

The Lebanon Logistics Working Group works to sustain coordination, information sharing, and preparedness efforts within the humanitarian community as part of a phased deactivation of the Logistics Cluster, originally activated in September 2024.  The objectives of the working group are: 

• Coordination and Information Management: Ensure continuity of logistics coordination with relevant stakeholders across humanitarian organizations and national coordination mechanisms. Collect and disseminate relevant information that are useful for logistics operational planning and implementation. 
• Preparedness and Capacity Strengthening: Facilitate national ownership of humanitarian logistics coordination mechanisms and strengthen local preparedness through capacity building.
• Technical Guidance: Enable operational efficiency and responsiveness through technical guidance, based on the needs and requirements for ongoing operations as well as for potential future emergency scale-ups.
