Emergency

Colombia Earthquake 2026

Country Working Group

Involved countries:

Description:

An earthquake of magnitude 7.4 struck western Colombia on 10 August 2026, causing significant impacts across the affected areas. The earthquake affected regions that were already facing humanitarian challenges related to conflict, displacement, and limited access to basic services, livelihoods, and infrastructure.

Response operations and assessments remain ongoing, while damage to infrastructure and service disruptions continue to affect impacted communities and constrain humanitarian access.

The Logistics Working Group is supporting the humanitarian community by assisting with logistics needs assessments, strengthening operational coordination and information sharing, and facilitating access to common logistics services free of charge to users.
