Sudan - UNHAS Flight Schedule, 18 - 30 June 2023

As per communication sent on 13 June:

UNHAS Sudan is pleased to announce the addition of more flights between Port Sudan, Sudan and Amman, Jordan. The flights will be two times weekly: Tuesdays and Thursdays between 18 June to 30 June 2023. 

Flights between Port Sudan and Nairobi will continue to operate two times weekly: Sundays and Thursdays.

The flight schedule is effective from 18 June to 30 June 2023 

As per the communication sent on 8 June:

UNHAS would like to inform that we anticipate 28 and 29 June to be observed as official UN Holidays( Eid al Adha)  as per attached communique. 

To finalize all necessary preparations and arrangements for the flight of Thursday 29 June  and for Sunday 02 July we would like to announce the following deadlines:

As per communication sent on 7 June 2023:

UNHAS Sudan continues to operate the airbridge between Port Sudan and Nairobi twice a week; on Sundays and Thursdays.

Due to operational exigencies, UNHAS wishes to announce a one off cancellation and activation of the following routes:

Thursday 15 June 2023: Nairobi – Port Sudan : CANCELLED

Thursday 15 June 2023: Port Sudan - Nairobi : CANCELLED

Thursday 15 June 2023: Amman – Port Sudan : ACTIVE

Thursday 15 June 2023: Port Sudan - Amman : ACTIVE

Schedule is as follows:

In terms of Jordan visa accessibility:

1. UNLP holders do not require visas to enter/transit in Jordan and
2. Most national passport holders can get visa on arrival. Refer to https://moi.gov.jo/EN/Pages/Restricted_and_Non_Restricted_Countries_Nationalities
3. If in transit for less than 10 hours there is no visa required.
