INTRODUCTION:

These Standard Operating Procedures are being compiled with input from the members of the Pakistan response staff based in Punjab and Sindh. This is a living document and it is expected that there will be several updates in the coming weeks as adjustments are made to meet the programme’s needs in addressing the ever changing situation in the field.

This is a guideline to fulfilling mandatory processes and procedures required for the safe and appropriate use of Save the Children’s boats in the ongoing program.

This document does not provide depth or detail on the operation of Boats, but rather an overview of its management and safety procedures. This document will be regularly reviewed and any feedback, errors or omissions should be immediately sent to Bassam Ibrahim, Senior Logistics Manager.
