HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Logistics Cluster, and Storage and Transport Inter-Agency Services WFP Special Operation (SO) 10556.0 has undergone a budget revision as a result of the crisis escalation in the North Kivu and Orientale Provinces in Eastern DRC. The approach takes into consideration various scenarios that could affect access. An additional USD 6,907,755 is initially required to support the crisis.
  • A brief one-page Standard Operating Procedure, delineating the various logistics services coordinated by the Logistics Cluster and provided by WFP ILS will be shared with shortly with the humanitarian user community.
  • The UN Humanitarian Air Service (UNHAS) flights for the week can be found on http://www.logcluster.org/drc. The Provisional Flight Schedule will be discussed at the Kinshasa-based User Group Meeting tomorrow. Booking requests can be submitted to UNHAS via email: unhas.drc@wfp.org.
